JulieNYC's medial thigh lift, breast augmentation and mons lift

Julie,

Maybe you exchange the ski trip for something like a spa day where you can indulge and not stress your body. Perhaps that would be a smaller time committment as well.

It's good you know your limitations and you have a strategy to deal with them. As always, you're rockin'.

That's without a doubt the best idea I've ever heard! SOLD!

Thanks to all for the thoughts. I cancelled the ski trip, have gotten work somewhat under control and otherwise feel more control than I did a few hours ago! Yay.

If I were in NYC I'd join you for some pampering! I'm glad to hear you're feeling better.

So, how about your feet? You had to lose a shoe size or two...I've been shoe shopping and just spent an hour on Zappos. Just curious.

Yeah, I went from a "big" size 8 to a regular 7. Threw out every pair of shoes I owned and bought about 15 pair last month....

Travelgirl, I have lost a half shoe size. I was in gunboat size 10's as well and have gone back to 9 1/2 and have found a couple of 9's that fit. Isn't amazing how fat affects every part of your body?

Julie, on the 14th of this month, I only went through TT/breast lift/reduction and Lipo and about the 7th day, I wanted to cry all day, actually the 8th day too, but today is all better.

I just realized one of my stitches around the breast has popped open and there's a hole there, of course it has to be at the end, so if I don't do something I'll be stuck with a pucker or worse it could get infected.

As for my TT, after day 2, I did my own drains, I'm sure with what you went through it was so much harder to do, you're truly are a trooper

Wishing you a speedier recovery.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
