Wooooah, I'm halfway there...

Look at my sig!! I am so happy to be half way to my goal weight. 12 weeks since my op tomorrow and in that time I've lost 33lbs. I know it's likely to slow down, and I've had one stall of almost 3 weeks already but I am so amazed by how well this surgery has gone for me.

I used to read about you all losing or having lost stones and stones and never really thought it would be me. Part of me still doesn't believe it! I was always hoping I would reach my goal by a year post op and I really think I can do it now.

Huge thanks to all of you who have shared your knowledge and experience and helped me this far.

I'll stop now - it's beginning to feel like a bad Oscars acceptance speech. 🤣

YEAH!

Here's a thing to consider: people say the last half is the worst part because it goes slower. I loved every minute of it because I was already so happy with what I had achieved.

Chillax, follow the plan, be good to yourself, accept you may n e v e r get to 160 (but you might get to 140, who knows) and that's all OK!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
