Anesthesia, pain meds, just about anything related to surgery can cause headaches.

Stress of surgery, stress of post surgery, stress of any sort can cause headaches.

Just straight not eating enough can cause headaches.

Constipation, dehydration, over hydration, yep.

Replying to a post about headaches.

Good luck,

Tek

Sure, it's possible. Your body's just been through major trauma and had anesthesia and you're probably not drinking enough, so yeah.

In my case I always get a headache after vomiting. I put it down to dehydration

Yes, I had headache and nausea for several days after surgery. You should be feeling better soon.

Same here! Major headache and nausea after surgery. I assumed the headache came from lack of caffeine in my body. It will go away eventually, give it a few more days. Good Luck! ♥

Hi guys,

such a hypochondriac I know, just curious.

Lack of calories, lack of sugar, those were my triggers, but your body gets used to it and the headaches go away.

I had a bad nonstop headache for first few days. Finally realized it was probably caffeine withdrawal. My surgery was moved up due to a last minute schedule opening and I didn’t get to diet prep like I should have.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
