I really enjoy the show. Every time I watch it though....have to wonder what Paula brings to the show. I would think they could get someone on that has more of an opinion. She seems like a girl that just can't say no.

I'm curious about who makes it to the top 24 tonight. I really liked the Brooke that performed with the keyboard (the Carol King/Carly Simon sound alike - not the beauty queen that got cut), but in the coming attractions, you see her crying on the elevator. I'm just hoping those are tears of joy.

There does seem to be a lot more talent this year, and so far, no Sanjaya wannabe, thank goodness

OK, I'm really excited about the top 24. There were a couple that I was surprised about getting through, but for the most part, I think we've got a competition, people!!!!!!

I love AI, but this year I'm hooked on Biggest Loser.

AI usually switches it's night when the 24 are picked, right? :cursing: If not I'll have to invest in DVR - again! I can't miss both!

AI & The Biggest Loser are great shows. I am a reality show addict. Although I don't watch ALL of them, I watch a lot of them. Yes, whoever doesn't have the DVR or TIVO, get it, it's worth it. However, I am super ready for the writer's strike to end so I can get on with my other non-reality shows as well, like Lost, Ugly Betty & 24 for starters.

The writer's strike is over, but they're saying it could be several more weeks before some shows are new again, with the exception of some sitcoms, and don't look for any new episodes of 24 for the rest of this season.

Well that sucks! 24 is one of my very favorite shows. I love me some Keifer. Well thank God at least the strike is over now.

Well, finally watched the selection show last night. Man they can relly be cruel to some of the people selected, making them think the decision was going to opposite way. But I am glad that the contestants I liked went through, like Brooke White. From appearances sake and of those who were highlighted, it does seem like it's a strong group. Let's hope so.

YOu know, I was a fan the first couple of seasons, then I grew tired of it.... but my family loves it, so I watch it anyway and I always end up getting hooked...., after it's over, then I never care for the winners anymore.... I guess I'm weird....

I'm just not into reality TV.....

I do think it's a good group though, it looks better than other seasons...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

Iʻm roughly 6 weeks post-op this morning and have begun to feel like a normal human, with a normal human body again. I started introducing solid foods and pill forms of medications/supplements a couple of weeks ago and it's really amazing to eat meals with my family again, despite the fact that my portions are so much smaller than theirs.
I live on the island of Oʻahu and spend a lot of time in the water- for exercise, for play,  and for spiritual & mental health. The day I had my month out appointment with my surgeon, I packed all my gear in my truck, anticipating his permission to get back in the ocean. The minute I walked out of that hospital I drove straight to the shore and got in that water. Hallelujah! My appointment was at 10 am. I didn't get home until after 5 pm.
I'm down 31 pounds since the day of surgery and 47 since my pre-op diet began, with that typical week long stall occurring at three weeks. I'm really starting to see some changes lately- some of my clothing is too big, some fits again. The most drastic changes I notice however are in my face. I've also noticed my endurance and flexibility increasing. I was really starting to be held up physically, and I'm so grateful that I'm seeing that turn around in such short order.
My general disposition lately is hopeful and motivated. The only thing that bugs me on a daily basis still is the way those supplements make my house smell. So stink! But I just bought a smell proof bag online that other people use to put their pot in. My house doesn't stink anymore.
