At my whits end!! Gastric sleeve done back in January and STILL having a difficult time of it.

Hair loss is still happening.. anyone know what to do about this?

I am not getting much Protein in at all due to extreme nausea, vomiting and pain when eating.

Sorry you’re having a rough time. Have you talked with your surgeon and nutritionist? If not you for sure should! I lost hair too, but now at nearly 2 years out it has grown back. If you need to use Protein Shakes to get to your daily Protein goals you should. I actually still have one every morning for Breakfast.

I agree, if you must go back to Protein Shakes. I have the premiere Protein caffe latte ever morning for breakfast. It does have caffeine though not sure if that is okay on your plan.

An endoscopy will determine if you have a stricture or something else going on, you don't mention what has been tried so far, or tested? Or if you are on a PPI, or anti-nausea meds.

I hope you keep calling your docs and team.

Yes, it definitely sounds like it is time for the doctor to investigate what's going on. Hopefully it is an easy fix!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
