ty - i havent been able to keep the protein shakes down unfortunately.

At my whits end!! Gastric sleeve done back in January and STILL having a difficult time of it. Hair loss is still happening.. anyone know what to do about this? I am not getting much protein in at all due to extreme nausea, vomiting and pain when eating.

yes... ty - i did call the surgeon and all they tell me is it takes a while and they want me to wait again till my july appointment. i told them i cannot do that anymore. so i made appointment with a GI doc for the end of this month. i do feel really bad they haven't taken me seriously.

yes, i understand.... aside from my taste change issue, I am going crazy not being able to eat more the 2 bites of anything. food feels stuck in my throat, like my throat is gonna close. i throw it up and get sharp pains in my chest and sometimes stomach.

I am 18 weeks out now should I be checked for the stricture?

I am week 18. Everything tastes different to me, I don’t care for what use to be my favorite foods. Most things seem to taste like pennies an too salty. Anyone noticing similar?

I had my sleeve done back Jan 4th an I still can only have 3 or 4 bites an I get sick, it’s like stuck in my throat, I will throw it up an get some pain in chest etc just so friggin uncomfortable to eat.

I am on the fence about regret. I have not felt well since the surgery and deal with extreme nausea and vomit up anything over 3 bites. I have felt so weak and not with it not being able to eat enough to be healthy yet. I am praying this will go away soon!!!

Has anyone had issues with a blocked bile duct or gallbladder post gastric sleeve surgery? I had gastric sleeve done in January of 2021 and am dealing with some issues.

well glad to hear.. that was exactly my thought about the starting weight and expectations on loss.. i was too the point of wanting to pass out at any given point in the day - so i couldnt imagine what my body would go through if i lost at the rate the doc suggested.
