I was sleeved the same day as you and am in the same boat! I stepped on the scale and was like what is going on? Apparently it is a common time for a stall and it is perfectly normal.

This is uncanny! And your stall atart d in the se week as well. Maybe it is normal after all.

My surgeons office said it was very normal. It can be as early as 2 weeks or as later but apparently 3rd week is super common.

The stall is HARD! I've been on these forums for months before I had my surgery so I feel really prepared. I knew stalls would happen, but now that it's here, it's hard not to mentally beat myself up or question what I've been doing. I'm so grateful for these forums!

I had gastric sleeve surgery March 2021. I had food stuck at the stomach opening and ended up at the er and then an endoscopy was done at midnight. Don’t want to do that ever again.

Hi - I am new to the site. My sleeve surgery is scheduled for March 10th. Anyone else here set for March? I am super anxious but also looking forward to it. I had a lap band in 2009 and a slip in 2014 that required removal. Curious as to what your pre-op diet looks like. I am on partial liquids now and full liquids for two weeks before the surgery.
Nice to meet everyone!

I just had mine on the 29

OMG - May I ask was it something you ate that you shouldn't have? or was it the opening of your stomach was small? That must have been so scary - I am sorry you went through that.

I am down 57! I know we're not supposed to compare ourselves, but it was reassuring to know someone else is just in step with me! Congratulations on your loss!

How is everyone doing? Sadly, my hunger has come back much quicker than expected as have my cravings for carbs and I am HUNGRY! I simply make sure I have Protein close by or veggies or fruit. It is difficult some days. I had my yearly physical yesterday and my primary care said she was concerned I was loosing to much weight too fast. Just curious what everyone else is experiencing. I do find I am following exactly what my dr and dietician recommended.

Had my surgery on 3/31 and as of today I am down 68.2lbs. I have struggled with finding food terribly appealing and get full fast. I have carbs now and again but find I get full even faster that way and I know they are empty calories so I keep it limited

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
