  3. I did and wished I waited just a bit longer (I was about 3 weeks out). I was horribly nauseous and ended up throwing up quite a bit. I was nervous the whole time that I was going to hurt my stomach. I would have waited another few weeks if I had to do it over again.

  9. This pretty much except I brought extra underwear - which I am glad I did because I had a bathroom issue right after surgery. The nurse told me that about 25% of patients have a loose bowel movement after surgery.
  10. I wore pants and was fine - they were Yoga pants and were not that loose to be honest and i was still fine.

  16. yeah - its normal. I just commented on another post about the week 3 stall. Keep doing what you are doing and your body will adjust and start losing more weight.
  17. OMG - May I ask was it something you ate that you shouldn't have? or was it the opening of your stomach was small? That must have been so scary - I am sorry you went through that.

  21. My surgeons office said it was very normal. It can be as early as 2 weeks or as later but apparently 3rd week is super common.
  22. You are doing amazing! Congrats! And I am so stealing the term surgiversary lol
  23. I was sleeved the same day as you and am in the same boat! I stepped on the scale and was like what is going on? Apparently it is a common time for a stall and it is perfectly normal.
  24. Me too - I would kill for a diet ginger ale right now lol
  25. @njlimmerI picked it based on how I did with the lap band I had in years ago. Honestly though, I think your goal weight is much more realistic for me. My bones are big (not a small frame at all) and to get down to that weight made me end up in the hospital. I just put that number down but would honestly be very happy getting to 170 - 180. I think I look good at 170. My docs asked for a goal weight and I just through out 150 and when they didn't react - I thought OK must be a good one lol Its not set in stone for me.
  26. Good luck! You got this! On to a whole new you!
  27. Holy cow - i just looked at your stats. You were done 8 days before me and lost double so far! You go girl!!!!
  28. Awww I'm sorry. While I didn't have pain - I was hungry. Some say it isn't real hunger but only head hunger - that isn't true. It does pass after a few days, especially once you can start consuming more. Be good to yourself and rest up these days (as much as you can). Sending you positive vibes.
  29. I am sorry, that is terrible. I am hoping she didn't mean it to come out like that and hopefully she is truly happy that things are moving along for you. She could have just said "I hope everything works out" and left it at that.
