Still can't get over how America ltd you leave the same day or even the next day...

I left the same day, too! Surgery at 11, left at 6! Couldn't drive with the narcotics.

I was told at least 2 days for rny. Anyone else stayed two days?

I stayed pretty much exactly 24 hours... surgery was at 1pm and I was released about 1:30 the next day.

I’m wondering if the RNY requires a longer stay. I think I would feel better staying the extra day anyway. Did they give you a test to see if there were no leaks?

I believe they do that during surgery but they did make sure that I could pee, walk around some as well as eat a little food without too much issue. I had some yogurt and potatoes.

I cannot pee and they are trying to figure out what to do next. Liquids are going in well. Just not wanting to come out!
