I had surgery yesterday. All went well. Now just trying to keep the fluids going and start introducing pre-mixed protein shakes. In a bit of pain and nausea, but I remember this is just temporary!

Dec 11. I’m excited!! I’m also annoyed with this liquid diet. It’ll be worth it in the end.

December 5. Keep your eyes on the prize! PCP office called redo some blood tests immediately. Surely, it didn’t take them 3 weeks to look at them. 2 sleeps. Today is cleanup and out day! Last day Full Liquid, after couple day break I was able to stomach the protein shakes again. Today will be a toilet day, citrate magnesia right after my tea, but last nights colace sees to be busy without help. Yep, eyes on the prize.

I’m trying so hard. I’ve had a migraine since yesterday. I know it’s an adjustment. My body is used to more food. Luckily I have a great support group, a freezer full of sugar free popsicles, and a 64oz yeti full of water.

The headaches were difficult, just keep on keeping on.

I don’t know if it will help but bone broth and a little extra sea salt help my headaches

I’ll give that a try.

So exciting to see so many posts on this thread! It means we are all getting closer and closer to surgery!

My excitement of the day is that I discovered Ensure Max Protein Shakes, and they are my favorite so far. It's fun experimenting, and right now I just buy whatever is on sale. Ensure was on sale, so I tried it, and I love it! So that's my exciting news! ha ha ha!!

I may try them. I only like 2 from premier and slim fast let’s me hungry.

Good luck.
