December Surgery dates???

I am officially scheduled for gastric bypass Wednesday December 04 with George Eid at West Penn hospital. Any surgery twins?????

      I had surgery yesterday. All went well. Now just trying to keep the fluids going and start introducing pre-mixed protein shakes. In a bit of pain and nausea, but I remember this is just temporary!

    its gonna go fast my advice is to keep doing what you doing stay on this forum and learn to adapt to eating totally differently ,develope a new attitude about everything and get ready for some dedication and reward,,,,,

    My insurance is approved and my surgery date is December 10th for an RNY. I’m going to try and really focus on mindful eating between now and then.

    My date is December 17th. I'm so excited and nervous at the same time. The waiting is killing me lol. Just getting thing I'll need for after surgery and making sure I have someone to help with my daughter.

    So, I have been busting my hump getting all the appointments completed before the middle of November in hopes of getting a December date. My surgeon/ insurance wants 1 nutritionist consult, 1 group nutrition class, a psych consult, & a letter of clearance for the surgery from my PCP. After all that I can set an appointment with the surgeon. Not sure if he will give me a date then or what... but, I’m ready!
