  1. AHHHAHAHA! Okay that pic made me laugh. Super loud. ? But I’m book marking this for future replies. I’m curious as well.
  2. I traveled ALLLLL the way to Monroe Ga from Jonesboro GA just to get to Dr. Maynard. I love my surgeon to DEATH and I value his 20 yrs of experience. It made a difference!
  3. Hey guyssss!! I wanted to check in and see how everyone is doing! How is everyone??
  4. I’m so sorry that this has happened to you! I can’t even imagine. But congrats on finding the courage to cut that cancerous tumor out of your life!!! It’s 2020! You’ve carried this toxic relationship all your life, now it’s time to let it go! Congrats on all that you have going for yourself! Continue to work hard and may your future be bright with happiness!
  5. I think this is fairly common. My surgeon told me don’t actually weigh until I see him at my post op. ?? I was sleeved on 12/11 and my post op is 12/23. Unfortunately I’m hard headed and I did it anyway. I’m down to 245 my beginning was 265. ? I was mildly disappointed at first but then when I actually thought about it, any loss is a good loss.
  6. Hiiiiii guysssss!!!!! Had a happy moment today! I weight for the first time since surgery. I’m down 20lbs from my beginning weight. Beginning weight: 265 day of surgery: 252 current: 245 That was the scale victory. I could've cried. ?? But I was sitting down speaking with someone, and I comfortably crossed my legs!!! BLEW MY MIND. It’s always been uncomfortable, but I’ve done it out of habit and to be “lady like”. Wow guys. Just wow.
  7. So I’m having a dull aching sensation, it only lasts for a minute at a time, throughout the day. Whether I’m eating or drinking or doing nothing at all. It’s not bad enough to take medication but it’s annoying. Is this normal as my gut heals? I kinda figure it’s par for the course, but just asking to be sure.
  8. No it didn’t make me sick actually. They were pretty soft. Nothing else since, I’ve been surviving on egg drop soup.
  9. It DEFINITELY is hard! Everything else is pretty much easy to make. But veggies? It’s hard to NOT taste. But I know better!!
  10. If I went by what the chart says my healthy BMI is I think I’d be gaunt and ghostly ?
  11. Yeah we did!!! I refuse to have a set back over cabbages. LOL they aren’t even my favorite. They were tasty tho ?
  12. Thanks hun! It’s just that I want to follow the plan as he says too! Too early for mushies!
  13. No they were boiled cabbages and pretty soft and mushy.
  14. I’m really trying. ?
  15. Thanks so much. It didn’t upset me at all though. They were boiled and rather soft.
  16. HA! This made me laugh so hard. ? Thanks AJ
  17. So as some of you may know I’m fairly fresh on the post op side. (Sleeved 12/11). I wanted to feel normal and prepare food for my hubby. So I made pork steak, Mac and cheese, and cabbage. His favorite. My recipes are pretty set in stone with some things, but veggies I always taste to make sure they’re seasoned. I did it. I tasted the cabbages without even THINKING! Then I got upset with myself. ? My dear old man doesn’t even know what the hell happened, just that my mood changed. *sigh*
  18. Pretty much the same for me. Had mine on 11th. Now my tummy talks louder than I do. ?
  19. The coffee works as a diuretic! Be careful! It makes you pee a lot more.
  20. Oh no!! Did you see the cup I posted? I try to finish that in a day. It may help you!
  21. Why babe?? What happened?
  22. THANK YOU!!! That first one sounds DELICIOUS!
  23. I had no idea we have the same date. ?
