Sorry, you are having a rough go, but you actually had 3 procedures each having it’s annoying way with you. Just try and keep in mind, it will take time. Lucky you, I can move to full liquid after my telephone call this afternoon, probably. But I am reaching my fluid goals, so all should be good.

Sip real tiny sip, let that go down, tiny sip repeat. You will be fine take it slow. By day 3-5, you will find everything you are experiencing easier or gone. Walk for the gas.

Good for you great work. Feeling even better today than yesterday. Pain level way down, had many gasy runs last night but I can feel the reduced pressure today. I am at my lowest since early 90’s. Trying to train my mind to recognize that what I have always perceived as hunger is satisfied with a couple sips of something. oh, last night I woke up nose running so I reached for tissue and blew out a huge clot. Must have been a tube down yonder.

Well 3 days the other side of it, not feel great but better than I thought it would be. Sip, walk, gas xtabs walk some more. Down 10 plus pounds of gas and pound and half must have been my stomach, lol. Onward sipping 3-4 ounces an hour. Sleep intermittently, sip, potty sip, sleep.

Only 5 here but they sure hurt. The gas pain was expected. Sucked on a gas x chewy thing that seemed to help. This morning I am down like 5 additional gas pounds, checked because there was a noticeable difference in size. The belly band feels good on. Had to shower, because I bent over and all hell broke lose. Now just trying to get my fluids in, one sip at a time. W

December 5. Keep your eyes on the prize! PCP office called redo some blood tests immediately. Surely, it didn’t take them 3 weeks to look at them. 2 sleeps. Today is cleanup and out day! Last day Full Liquid, after couple day break I was able to stomach the protein shakes again. Today will be a toilet day, citrate magnesia right after my tea, but last nights colace sees to be busy without help. Yep, eyes on the prize.

Couldn’t believe it took 2 weeks for me to have 1 occasion to be hungry. Although, the tuna is approved, I had really wanted to be chew free for the 3 weeks. Not sure why, good news tuna usually make me indigestion but it didn’t yesterday. Think my stomach said be glad you got it now shut up.

A lot better than I thought! Never a problem but come to a point over a week never hungry. Starting to dislike protein drinks, guess a couple weeks. But I have been avoiding cream of wheat oatmeal pudding and flavored tuna. Well today, gave in first time I had been hungry.Only had a bout 3 ounces. Adding collagen and protein to all my drinks and egg whites. Now pudding tuna egg whites cream o wheat and oatmeal are no no’s post op. After Thursday, I have 4 more weeks liquid Whoopi 2 clear 2 full I am going to forget how to chew.

I hear you. I thought, I had researched and investigated but I have learned so much in the last year, it’s unbelievable. Surgery Dec 5th I have more water to pickup this week since my tap is definitely never on my go to list. But otherwise, I might need to order some protein but doubt it. I am prepped what should be near 6 week. Post I have 1-2 clear and 2 full followed by purée for 1-2. Because of other issues it will be more of a food trial but I will be wiser at the end.

Jeli84 mymy, I just decided to be glad I only have 3 week of preop full liquid diet 24 hour clear. One more week and I will be either in or awaiting surgery. The last two days I have no real desire for my allotted liquids. So today I will make a mushroom broth and although I hadn’t incorporated the egg whites I will have some today and a pudding for my holiday treat. I was happy with it so simple but perhaps I should not have been so severe in my choices. Three weeks is a long time. Only consuming 3 ounces per serving instead of the allowed 4-6 ounces so that is the plan. What day is your surgery? Mine the 5th. Seems your in a much better class instruction mine was me and nutritionist. She was repetitive and felt she blindly wandered. She also, seemed to want vegan after surgery.
