Let's Track Our Miles!

Ok, I thought it would be fun to put a daily thread in about keeping track of how many miles we walk or run each day/week.

It's an informal account. Just take your previous total and add to it as often as you want! It would be fun to keep track each day! I will go back to Monday (the start of the week for me) and add figures. You can do it in either steps or miles/kms.

:) Let's get physical, y'all!

  • Thanks FluffyChix, I did clock in 9K miles walking around my neighborhood as well as indoors yesterday. I had trouble pairing my android wristwatch to Baristatic so I bit the bullet and got a Fitbit

  • Fantastic idea, I am still a bit hit or miss but am trying to do some walking every other day at the moment. Daily is too much to actually go on a walk at the moment, but no reason I can't track the d

Ok, I'll start it out!

Monday - 2.2mi

Tuesday - 3.7mi

Total from previous days = 5.9mi

Current Day = 2.7mi current + 5.9mi = 8.6mi this week

Why not today? :D Even 5 minutes is something and we can all walk! Even if it's a step. And if you can't walk, then do some THING for 5 minutes. Wave your arms in your chair. Do deep breathing exercises for a minutes. Raise your eyebrows for a minute. Just do something to move some part of you! :D

11.5mi since Monday (not including today's miles)

I love this-count me in! Yesterday was 3.58 miles for me. I’m going to go walk a lake loop trail today so it will be higher today. Good job so far everyone! I have a goal of running a half marathon race that I’ve walked twice in the past (half ran it one of those times). I’m shooting for the Bellingham Bay 1/2 marathon in September of 2020, which will be 13 months post op.

If there is anyone here that is in the Seattle area I’d love a walking/training buddy!

5.61 miles for me today.
Great job!!!
Clocked 5.57miles today as well.

Love the accountability [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]

11.5mi + 3.8mi = 15.3mi not including today (Sat)

You guys are crushing it!!! How do you get over 5mi in per day?!!! I'm not worthy!

We have a lake in Seattle that has a 3 mile loop walking path around it. It’s a great place to exercise and people watch! I think I’ll do it again today.

WTG! So you do the loop once then have 2+ more miles of movement the rest of the day? Or are you going 1.5 times around the track? Sounds beautiful!
