Back story, sleeved in 2014. Everything went fine and lost 70 pounds. Starting having heartburn not bad. By year 5 severe GERD, gastritis, and medium hernia

Daily pain w/o meds. Insurance will not help. I have hope. However nothing is done until it is done. I understand clearly the medical community primarily does not view obesity as a disease. They are wrong.

It's sad seeing how I pay for my health insurance to keep me well.

I do not suggest doing this while in Grad school

I had a baby the first year of my Master's degree. This Doctoral degree and a bypassed will be easier [emoji41]!

Except you cannot anticipate complications in the middle of a semester... Money time and effort could be lost

But as always the choice is yours

Thank you! For most people that is totally true. I really did think about all the complications that might happen! I have worked hard to get to this place in my life. I even lost twins will in grad school and still finished. I am a extremely strong woman. I always push forward.

The latest, my GERD is getting better by my change in eating habits. Most days, I feel like a perpetual science experiment!

I am afraid to eat. I don't want to have acid. My first visit to the nutritionalist is this week. I will have a clear plan at that point. If I am revised? It will occur in late March. Time will surely tell!

Round 1000. Wow, the last few months have been we you know. I will have hernia surgery and sleeve repair on 12/16.

How did you win the denial? I was just denied today and I'm super mad about it.

Well, I got approved then the denial came at the final stage. Anyway, have you doctor request a peer to peer review with your insurance.

I got the hernia and esophagus repaired which so far has helped tremendously. I can't eat a lot. The pain sucks. I working hard to get back on this weight loss journey.
