I saw this Victoria Beckham lace & sequin skirt a few weeks back at my favourite boutique but didn’t get it. Then saw it on 40% off but was shopping with my mum & didn’t try it in. Then 2 weeks ago, I was still thinking about it & thought my size will be gone by now (only one of each size available) but checked online and the UK 6 was still there. Yippee! I tied it on the next day & it was perfect. The greatest win was it was another 20% off so 60% off. It was meant to be mine. Another win was it was still full price on VB’s website and her price was more than the original price where I bought it so got it for 75% off Victoria’s price. Wore it to my 60th birthday lunch yesterday with a silk blouse I knotted in the front.

I like it! Is it half lined or more concentrated sequins towards the waist?

It’s lined with tulle @GreenTealael so no lining at all. Probably supposed to wear those knickers/shorty shorts underneath but I wasn’t doing that ?. I wore a slum full slip which is why I couldn’t tuck my shirt in (you’d see the tucked in part).

I loved my dress I got for it (though I didn’t get a great picture of the whole dress ?). I am still hopefully only halfway done with my weight loss journey but it felt great to by a size 14 dress; it’s been a long time since I wore a size 14!

Not exactly a "day" outfit but I got new PJs for around the house, plus a matching robe 🙂

I was afraid the UK6 (only one available) would be too small but it is surprisingly loose.

Thank you...... you still look at lovely as ever. Things are going good. Doing a lot of golfing, fishing and hunting season is coming up. The gym is still a part of my life but not as much as I need to. Planning a big trip. Going to be doing a viking cruise from Amsterdam to Switzerland. I do need to come here more often.
