Forgot to post yesterday

11. Made myself a cauliflower grilled cheese (Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Cauliflower Bread). I can only eat half so the other half was dinner tonight.

12. Did my plank and lunges. Watched Bugsy Malone.

*ears perk up*. Cauliflower bread??? Do you buy or make ? I’m so slow to learn some of this stuff

  • Today is a new day.

  • I'm over my meltdown from yesterday.

  • I'm already making a plan for Easter dinner. My sister is hosting, so I have her menu of what I will eat.

  • Up early this morning, doing some strength training and aerobics.

  • #13- will be outside most of the day. Going on a 3 mile walk this morning. Then later in the afternoon another walk to just enjoy the day.

It’s quite alright! We all have “those” days! Have a great day ?

In the low 40’s with rain.

Lol, Not gonna get outside but I’m finishing up painting my spare bedroom so that will be workout enough for today
Ooooh!! What color?
# I am going for a walk, whether Tomkitten ants to come along or not, and I am going to use my walker, the one he threatened to hide. He says your cane or nothing, calls using a walker "regressing" Well it should be my choice, my degree of confidence in my stability. I know he deeply loves me, but at times he acts like he wishes I was meek, subservient and a DoorMat his father wiped his feet on. But I have gotten emotionally stronger, put myself under New Management, my own, and I am so much better for it! He is still peeved I wanted to do all the dishes, clean the kitchen yesterday night, albeit with one hand since my right hand/arm still painful from April 4th surgery. Had hoped he would comprehend the mess was not good and pitch in and do it all for me. He stated I don't like doing dishes, well I don't either but I also don't care to grow my own penicillin out there. So got most,of them done last night, now to gird my loins and face the rest. Ycch! Told him we are going start on disposable tableware if he don't join me there, tired of cooking with no cleaning up! And there won't be any more Pyrex baking dishes used without his help. I cannot balance hot items on my hip and use one hand. Maybe I am in a picky, crabby mood today, I am after all human, smaller daily, the complete bottom line? I WEIGH LESS THAN HIM- HE DOES NOT LIKE IT told him I will not abort my losongs for his EGO. He has a BMI of 38,9, mine now(drumroll please) 35.7 if he is going to continue sniping better start on his own WLS journey, talk to PCP or my surgeon's about a sleeve, and stop throwing snowballs at MY PARADE, I have struggled hard to gain this loss!

Going from a drab grey to a lovely green.
Can’t post pics now because it’s really overcast today and the ceiling fan has been taken down and the lighting is horrible.
Hopefully by Monday I can post a progress pic

Did the squats and crunches. Taking today off from the gym. I went 5/7 days this week.

Went for a walk and ran into a neighbor who complimented me on my weight loss, so a good day so far.

Well, I did just come in from doing a tour of my yard looking for signs of growth. Other than that, outside has simply been the journey between my car and the gym, the market, the office, the groomers, and home. It was raining like the dickens this morning...I do have outside plans for tomorrow which may go along with that decluttering objective. We shall see. Yes, crunches and squats completed. :)

Thanks so much for the encouragement.

#13 Get Outside:

It was a beeeeautiful day today and me and the Kid went to watch Mr. play some tennis, then the Kid and Mr. played some tennis, and afterwards we (and by "we", I mean "they") got some funnel cake. Aside: I suck at tennis. Plus, I was wearing inappropriate shoes (heeled booties, lol).

Will head out again later tonite (on my own this time, sans the heels) for my daily walk around the neighbourhood.

Too bad tomorrow is not going to be nearly as nice.

I make it. Here is the link to the recipe https://www.theironyou.com/2014/05/cauliflower-crust-grilled-cheese.html?m=1.

I use low-fat cheese and I use coconut cooking spray instead of butter for the grilled cheese part. I can only eat half a grilled cheese but you can easily reheat this so I end up getting 4 meals out of this.

13. It was a beautiful day so I did a lot of errands outside and went on a 30-minute run. Squats and Crunches done!

I'm a "newbie" veteran.

Current weight, 308.

Goals...to push through my internal bs and restart this thing.

Surgery:RNY

Did I do this right?

Looks perfect to me ??.
14) Declutter. We moved last year after being in the same house for 34 years. We did a major purge and it was really hard. I had inherited all of grandparents things after the loss of my dad as well. Then we did ANOTHER purge once we finally got to unpacking everything and got rid of a lot more that we couldn’t part with in the original purge . Long story not so short is we’ve just kept up with it . So yay , I have a free day. Everyone enjoy your day no matter how you spend it ?
