But you're doing it! I'm less than a month I will,be doing it too. Don't have a band but I'm sure I could rent the Salvation Army Tambourine Band if I wanted on September 5th. Point those toes ahead, it's your DAY OF DAYS, me along with everyone else out here at Bariatric Pal are sending our very Best Wishes to you! Update us when it's been completed but we are VERY PROUD of YOU today.😛🌸😷🌺😛

Congrats and good luck! I had my band removed back in March and revised to the Bypass... Best damn thing I've done for myself in a very long time!

Add me to the band removal, happy with my decision bandwagon. Sorry for the pun, but it was intended. Yay no more choking and other weird swallowing things!

Starting this process now with my surgeon after 8 years with my band over 100lb loss and now esophageal dilitation caused me to have to unfill band and have had an o going weight gain. He recommended bypass and we are checking with insurance now. Anyone have issue with insurance not covering a revision due to complications of the band?

It’s gone now and post op has not been fun. I had it Thursday but got discharged Sunday . I’m hoping the trots leave whenever food picks up as I’m constant but I’m only on clear fluids and just started Protein yesterday

Complications is a factor with approvals, if an insurance company denied a procedure to correct a problem and that problem got worse, the insurance company would be in some serious trouble and potentially under threat of a lawsuit. They will more than likely make you jump through some hoops, monitored diet and exercise, follow ups with a nutritionist, etc... but denying because the band is problematic... I don't see that happening anytime soon.

Stalls are the WORST.  I know they happen, but I am still disappointed.  I've been the same weight for over 2 weeks.

I know the feeling. I did some major online shopping with all the sales around black friday. In tops I wear anywhere between a S-L. In pants from 6-10. But I must own the world's most elastic panties, because -100+ lbs, I still wear the same undies!

I went against my weekly weigh in and cheated today the scale says I'm 248 😂How? Maybe it's wrong lol I just purchased the scale and it's my first time using it. I'll weigh my daughter to see if it's accurate. I was 255 this time last week so I guess it's a real possibility. I'll let you know , I have been very picky about sugars and carbs even though I don't have a huge variety of foods to choose from. I'm super excited and hope everyone is doing great! Got to charge my iPad but I just had to share my happiness
