I found this the other day when I noticed I haven’t been losing much but gaining.

This journey has taught me to forgive myself for what I’ve done to myself and can only learn from it and grow :)

These are some of the motivational quotes I like:

  • If it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you.
  • The Struggle You Are In Today Is Developing The Strength You Need for Tomorrow
  • The Road May Be Bumpy But Stay Committed To The Process
  • If You Are Tired Of Starting Over, Stop Giving Up
  • Be The Best Version Of You
  • Success Is The Sum Of Small Efforts, Repeated Day In And Day Out
  • Do what you don’t want to do to get what you want to get.
  • Permanence, perseverance and persistence in spite of all obstacles, discouragements, and impossibilities: It is this, that in all things distinguishes the strong soul from the weak.
  • We must all suffer from one of two pains: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret. The difference is discipline weighs ounces while regret weighs tons.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
