OMG I'm Obese!!

I JUST realized that I have already reduced my BMI enough to get out of the Extreme/Morbid Obesity category. I am now "just" obese. Did I ever think I would Celebrate such a thing? No! But here I am absolutely thrilled about it! My body may not yet "show" what I've done, but it IS making a difference.

Are you going to get a sweatshirt that says that? Maybe: Obesity--' Every Day I have it less and less! I think I want one that says "Former Cutie-Pie" or maybe "Working my Way back to Thin". How about "Warning! My Cute is Coming Back!" Yeah I like that one. Another for you- OMG Now I'm Just Obese!

I, for the first time in my life am a normal weight! 8 months out from my RNY and I have lost 85#. I was just looking at pictures yesterday from a month before surgery and I am amazed at the difference!!! I am thankful everyday for this surgery, my life has changed [emoji4] I will post some pictures soon!

Congrats on being just obese. I remember when that was my goal too. I’m finally got to just overweight from morbidly obese and can’t wait to get to healthy weight !!!

35-39.9 BMI is Class II or Moderate-Risk obesity and I got to that a couple of days ago! I am so happy!

Can't wait to be Class I obesity (i.e. Low-Risk), 26 more pounds to go.
