I’m terrible at this!
I feel like I didn’t deserve this opportunity because of the way I’ve been treating this gift. I’m five months in and I don’t track, I eat low carb but sometimes I eat junk like pizza like two slices which isn’t normal. I also don’t exercise, or take my vitamins. I’ve missed my three month check up I know it’s unacceptable but I’ve lost motivation and no one is here to push me. Fortunately I’ve been lucky enough that I’m still losing weight which is crazy I started 115kg and I’m at 89kg. I need help is it too late to fix this? How do I get motivated again?

Looking for advice for parties
I have a birthday party that I have to go to tonight. Anyway I don’t wanna drink alcohol as I’m only one month out, I can’t drink juice due to sugar, and I’m worried anything with bubbles will hurt. I don’t want a bunch of questions and why I’m only drinking Water. What can I drink that looks like a normal drink that I will be able to tolerate. I was hoping for a non-alcohol, non frizzy, non sugar drink. Does a drink like this even exist? Please help guys I have no one else to turn too? [emoji20] I’m so anxious about tonight.

I'm 2 days post op sleeve & im experiencing major flush face
I had this it was very uncomfortable I had red cheeks and my scalp was red and sore it was so weird. In my instance it turned out to be the painkillers I was on. I had two pain killers a slow release and a quick one for increased pain. For me I was having a reaction to the stronger pain killer and as I was about four days out and feeling ok I stopped taking it and stuck to the slow release and all good!! In saying that I still think to talk to your nurse/surgeon because I would hate for it to be something different.

Puree stage
I hope u can see the image because I wanted to share my puree guidelines. This is all I was given, I’m doing a lot of research myself but it’s so hard to know what to follow. Wondering if anyone would post their guidelines so I can see what your recommendations are?

Protein shakes
Hi guys, I’m really struggling to find a protein shake that doesn’t make me sick. I’m Australian and had opti-fast pre op which was fine but post op is a different story and gives me dumping. I would love a flavoured protein shake as I want to have it as a quick breakie. I’ve tried making my own with pb2 and it also made me sick but I think it was the banana and thickness. My nutritionist said it’s artificial sweeteners. It’s not lactose issue because milk and yogurt is fine. Does anyone have any high protein shakes they make that don’t contain protein powders?

Not sleeping
Hi guys it feels like I just come here with problems and I’m sorry for that but it’s hard to find anyone who relates to me. I’m wondering if anyone noticed changes to their sleep post op, I used to love sleeping. I would sleep all night no problems. Sadly now I wake up three-four times a night. Every time I wake up I’m crazy dehydrated and have a dry mouth. Thing is I’m drinking the recommended amount fluid, haven’t taken meds for weeks, don’t exercise late, and don’t drink coffee. I don’t understand what’s going on!

Low cals post op
I'm wondering how many calories everyone was eating in the weeks after surgery? I'm only eating 300 cals a day which seems so crazy! I'm only a few days post op so I think I'm being crazy but I'm curious what is normal. It should be said I'm not hungry at all and I mean at all!!!
