I'm 6 days post RNY and doing great! Getting all my liquids and Proteins in and doing my walking. I don't feel a lot of fatigue and am not on pain meds. Haven't gone out a lot, since there's really only the grocery store (and we don't need anything) or going out to dinner which won't work for me right now).

Hope everyone is healing well and feeling better every day?!!

Glad you're feeling strong and not in much pain!

Had my sleeve surgery 2/6/18 so today is three weeks Post-op and I get to start the purée diet! For Breakfast I managed 2tbsp of puréed hard boiled egg...it still boggles my mind that that’s all I can eat before feeling absolutely stuffed. My energy is ok...not great...but I’ve been getting to the YMCA 2-3 days a week and swimming my laps, so hopefully that changes soon.

My starting weight was 416lbs. So I was much bigger at the start than most of you ladies (though I’m told I carried it well). As of last Friday I am down 40lbs (20 during pre-op liquid diet and 20 post-surgery) and I am over the moon happy about that!! I have a LONG way to go, but I got a great start and hopefully the weight will continue at this rate for at least one more month (two more would be incredible).

Glad to hear how everyone is doing!!

Well I had my 2 week Dcts appt today and down 10 lbs. Docter called it 12 which I’ll take because that’s how much I’ve lost since seeing him in his office right before surgery! I’m still on purée’s but can at least start eggs and next Monday can start soft moist foods so looking forward to that! And down 34 pounds since I started this journey!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
