March 12 I have my sleeve who else is in March

In March 12 to! Can’t believe I’ve made it this far on my liquid diet. Had my surgery cleared yesterday. The countdown is on! I’m excited but really nervous...

@JD3787, thanks for your detail. It echoes my own experience (I was sleeved yesterday), but the only significant nausea I had was in the first 30 minutes after waking up in recovery...no puking though.

This is true. I was sleeved on 6th (yesterday). I'm so painful. Especially where they pulled out my stomach. The morphine pump.makes me sick to my stomach, but no puke yet.

I am March 29th. S
Starting to feel nervous!

Don’t feel nervous you got this. Try to go in with a positive attitude everything will be fine. If you have support groups in your area I would suggest attending those too. I learned a lot from my support group and appreciate everything from it.

I’m getting hungry as well. I was sleeved 2/27 and I was doing fine with hunger at first now I’m hungry and I’m only suppose to have full liquids

Hang in there, I hope that soon it will pass. Think long term and the rewards will be awesome I’m sure.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
