I got my date today 2/23 RNY. STart LIQUID DIET 2/13. Preop work up 2/14

So excited!

1 week liquid diet down! Yeah, baby!!!! That's what I'm talkin' about!

I have my hospital pre-op interview on Tuesday and the last surgeon's pre-op visit on Thursday. I'm a bit nervous cuz I haven't received the letter of approval from my insurance company yet. But, the doc's office says they have the approval from the insurance and that's why they were able to move forward? I guess I will call the hospital again on Monday and see if they've gotten the hospital stuff approved. Then will call insurance to see if they can email a copy of my approval letter. Don't know why I'm such a wuss about talking to them.

Mine is 15 February. I'm having a gastric bypass.

Mine is today , 12th Feb. 2am here and in hospital at 6.30am. This is my nightly ritual as the reflux seems to be so horrible at nights. I will be having revision from sleeve to bypass. Sleeve gave me hideous GERD and did not lose a kg!

Are you in Australia luv? Its noon where I am so I figure it might be. Just a few hours until your next step in your weight loss journey. I am so excited for you. My own day may come early-mid March at Mount Carmel in Columbus Ohio. I've run into a minor snafu, I trusting it won't bar me from the surgery I want and need so badly, All us who are believers will be praying for you and everyone else wishes you well. Let us know when you're through. we will rejoice with you.
