I am doing RNY. I’ve actually not been able to bring myself to do much planning yet. So much has been going on. My surgery will be at Oakland Regional in Michigan. My surgeon is Dr.Matthew Weiner.

Here’s a link to watch how my journey has been so far. If link is broken you can find me on YouTube. My channel name is Fat 2 Fab.

Shoot I should have remembered because I teased you about Dr W being a super star of Bariatrics I would prefer to meet him over your Governor or my Governor (who I knew because I campaigned for him in Columbus when we both were younger) and certainly not President Trump, who my son loathes.[emoji27]?? Somebody said something like isn't he from your party? Nope I grew up as a Republican not a Trumperterian, I'd turn Democrat,or even a splinter party first.[emoji26]

I am happy and excited your day is coming! Please let me know how everything goes, okay? PS I just watched your you tube, very nicely done.[emoji12]

Well it's that time folks. This time tomorrow I will be in the losers club.

Is it crazy that I’m only 4 days post op and I am having major horror/crazy ass dreams of food???? It’s so weird and on top of that it is sooooooooo uncomfortable to sleep. I can’t wait til they take this thing out Thursday

It may mean that your sub consciousness realizes what a toxic relationship you had with food. I can admit my own because I know and realize it was an abuser that controlled me instead of me controlling it. And like many others of that ilk it told me " I'm the only friend you have" well I finally realized I no longer needed such a friend and the tie must be severed. On surgery day Unhealthy Food and I will be divorced. You are stronger than I for you have already done it. I salute you LakeishaNicole.[emoji7]

I had mine done March 5th also! How are you guys doing! Would love to compare notes.

I had mine one week ago.

i have had 2 food dreams with the same theme, eating something “bad” and then realizing....ooops!

I’m not hungry but commercials can be a killer?

I am doing good. Meeting my 80+protein goal, drinking 64+ oz , getting in all my vitamins. Seems like everyother day I am really full and it’s a little harder.

Still love my premier protein shakes so easy to get 2 a day for 60 Protein (split into 1/3s (7am, 9, 11, 1, 3, 5). Add some protein water. I am taking Barmelt vitamins, sweet but getting use to them. Hardest is my Centrum multivitamin chewable, tastes awful?

Need to walk more, doing my breathing spirometer.

No pain or nausea. Haven’t taken anything since first day home.

Slept pretty good last 2 nights.

What is everyone else drinking?

I finally had 1/3 cup soup. Probabably will have again tonight.

I had the same thing happen to me right after I came home from the hospital. I started eating cream of mushroom soup five days post op and the dreams quit. For me, getting to eat something I really like (the soup) seemed to stop the dreams.

I’m gonna try that
