Training for a 5k

I started training myself to run a 5k this week, using an app. I have never been able to run before. I 've lost enough weight now that I can run and I am so addicted. Maybe someday I can be a marathon runner. Woo hoo!

Look how far you have come and how strong you have become. Keep pushing! Completing a marathon is absolutely possible.

Thanks! I love your quote. This also broke my plateau. I'm back to losing a pound a day....67.6 and counting. I feel like I've been given a new life!

You used same clinic as I did- I see Dr. Kilgore. I'm doing my first 5k tomorrow night though will do more walk/run this time as opposed to running the whole thing. Training for a sprint triathlon in April as well! I still don't love running- I prefer swimming and horseback riding but my personal trainer keeps pushing me on the treadmills

Wow it took me six months to take off enough weight to feel comfortable with running. Keep up the good work!
