I decided to have a sleeve after years of struggling with weight. I have PCOS and hypothyroidism and despite playing competitive sports and being active have struggled with weight loss. After my mom died unexpectedly at 55 from complications of obesity, I knew this procedure was not something I wanted to wait any longer for and interviewed multiple surgeons before deciding to have surgery with Dr. Julie Kilgore in the DFW area.
