Never heard of it , some would say yes some would say no, the only thing I will say is , is it allowed on your plan?

Only 2 grams of Protein for three whopping Cookies?

These cookies would be an utter waste of space in your sleeve. When you look at the nutritional facts, they're just another empty calorie snack.

Just stick to cookies 'n cream flavored Protein Bars. You'll satisfy your craving for a cookie while actually feeding some protein to your body.

When I get a sweet tooth, I eat Halo Top ice cream (240 calories and 24 grams of protein per pint). The Enlightened brand ice cream is also good.

I would stay away from them. They hold no nutritional value. I know all plans are different, but I have always been under the impression that we should pay more attention to Protein content, carb content and calorie content rather than sugar. Of course low sugar is important, but I wouldn’t think it would be at the top of the list.

I like Quest protein bars when I’m craving a cookie type snack. Also, if you haven’t explored Pinterest for recipes, you definitely should. There are so many really great high protein, low carb, low sugar recipes there for pretty much any kind of food you could ever want. If you’re craving sweets, they have a TON of recipes.

Sometimes we treat ourselves and that’s ok but I think it’s important to also do your best to incorporate positive things into your treats (such as high protein).

Mmmm cookies...

Cookies have always been my favorite sweet. I like them better than cake or ice cream, so guess what I'm getting for my birthday?

Probably a catastrophy, but I'll try to make some Peanut Butter cookies with about 1/4 the sugar.. cuz sweets are just too dang SWEET!

Gee, I was tasting apples yesterday. Who the heck put so much sweet into an apple? I'm all looking for the tart cooking ones now. But not too tart. Bland apples.. anyone know of the blandest type of apple?

I do the sugar free cookies. My doc said it was ok. I only allow myself the serving size when I want a treat. It has helped me tremendously bc I will not deprive myself of everything. It just doesn't work for me. I do not eat anything that has regular sugar such as cakes or pies. If I do decide, I will take one bite only.
This surgery for me was about control. I don't over due or over eat like I used to and for that I am very happy.
I already do not eat Pasta, pizza or bread. But one cookie isn't going to derail me and I am with not eating the whole bag.
We have to find what works for each of us.
A lifetime of denial of everything is not living.

I wish I could be that way. I can’t even have that stuff in the house because I WILL eat it. All of it. I’ve made that mistake and it’s a really awful feeling. I guess I just have poor control when it comes to food. So I just have to stay away. But, I do enjoy the Protein brownie recipes and things like that. I like to make the one serving size brownies in a mug. That won’t I won’t eat too much.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
