It's been 4 months since my surgery. I'm down 77.2 pounds. So far so good, haven't gotten sick or anything. Had a stall right after my 3 month appt. my struggle is the Hair loss. I feel at the rate it's coming out I could go bald. Is that possible? I know you can't stop it but I'm concerned for sure. IMG_9497.JPG

It wouldn't be bald per say because women never lose the hairline like me. But yes it could get very thin. That being said, everything I have read regarding it is the hair comes back after while. My wife suffers from 2 different autoimmune diseases and her hair is getting to the point she needs a wig, so I hear ya. Keep up a positive attitude!

I like the fact you took the picture in the same clothing and same pose. That was extremely smart. That shows true weight loss.

You are doing great. I'm at 6 months out and I've lost a total of 128lbs. Yes, my hair is thinning but Idk if it's because of the surgery because I was a cancer patient so it could still be from that but hey, there's some beautiful wigs out here and I like to change my hairstyle a lot so I don't care about the hair. 1 thing for sure, you don't have to be bald if you don't wanna be baldIMG_0596.JPG this is my before and my 6 month which was 4/ of April 2017

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
