I loved traveling because I spent 18yrs of my life as a flight attendant. while working my last flight 7yrs ago, we hit some awful turbulence, dropping 500ft, I hit the top of the aircraft, breaking my back.  what I missed in this story is that I'm a mother of 6, 2 sets of twins and 2 singles. after my accident on the job, my world came crashing down around me. constant pain 24hrs a day, drs giving me every pain med on the list and my tolerance for them got higher and higher until I went into cardiac arrest chasing the pain. Severe RA set in, arthritis ate up my knees so badly that they had to go in a clean them up twice, all the while treating my RA with steroids. I ended up having to do fusion therapy for my RA and high doses of steroids. 1 day I woke up and couldn't feel anything from the waist down, nothing, I even lost control of my bladder. I ended up staying in the hospital for 16 days and they found out that I had MS.  ive put my personal business out here to say.....I was a perfect size 5, all my life, 5"7, 145lbs, all my adult life until I hit 46 and then my life fell to pieces when that airplane dropped. I fell into a major depression because I found myself not being able to fit into my clothes shoes, didn't want to get out of bed . Before that fall, I had the perfect family after the fall, I woke up to my husband having someone else in his life, asking for a divorce, me weighing 300lbs, and having MS. I tried everything to get the weight off on my own, but with my knees worn out, I couldn't do much walking, even with a walker, I tried. I joined a gym, got a trainer, no luck.  I finally asked my pcp for help and she referred me to my bariatric dr and my life changed on that very 1st appointment. meeting the nutritionist Ashton literally saved my life. teaching me how to retrain myself to eat right, to get my water in, get your protein in, is so very important. to date ive lost 91lbs and counting. I only wanted to lose 120lbs so I'm well on the way to my goal...YOU CAN DO IT TO...WE ARE ALL HERE TO HELP EACH OTHER
