Hi flirty, I could tell that last post came straight from the heart, and it is going to be a roller coaster of emotions for you and is'nt something to be entered into lightly, but with the committment you have show to enriching you life, and becoming much happier, if anyone can go through with it you can, and because of your age this last 12 months has been life changing for you.

Positives, negatives, laughing, crying, throw it all at us I'm sure there'll be people on here to support you through all the ups and downs, I for one will help and listen whenever I can.

Wow flirty what a post... i can understand why you were crying writing that, it is a lot you have gone through and not just the past 12 months but probably years, battling with your weight and putting up with negative comments and people staring, now they will be staring for the right reasons as you are stunning. It's like you are saying goodbye to the old you and your old life and starting a new beginning, and my god you deserve it. As long as you know you will be out of action for a few months but just think after that what your life will be like, you know we are all here for you anyway we can, goodluck hunny you really deserve this xx

Alright m8 mabye gary is the best one to answer this one as he is in to the more physical exercise than me.But personaly i would leave it unless you totaly feel healed.

I would be scared incase i fell or twisted and done any damage to my port or my stiches. But its your call if you think you are healed enough.:)

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
