3 weeks post-Op ... before and after

Recommended Posts

Again all of you need to back off. If you can't say anything good don't say anything. If you come here expecting to read somebody's results and think you're going to get the same you're fooling yourself and nothing anybody can write here will help you. Her journey is her own. Don't criticize her for it.

Woah, how much have you lost since starting?

Fridge Pickers Wear Bigger Knickers

I have lost 32lbs including my pre-op. But I have lost more inches than pounds I feel because I have been walking average of 4.5 miles everyday.

Umm so why are you posting a hate message, she never said she would continue to lose like that. And I had RNY on Sept 6th. I've lost 152.3lbs. Do the numbers I'm not far short of those numbers...if the info doesnt match what you've seen or experienced....ignore it. But don't be nasty about it.

Wtf is the matter with you people? As stated before if you have nothing nice to say then keep your mouth shut. Y'all need to go back to elementary school so you can brush up on the basics. There is a decent way to ASK if you have questions about someone's progress. Just jumping up in here and straight onto someone's back and TELLING them you know what's up is unwarranted and uncalled for. On another note how about everyone just focuses on their own journey instead of badgering someone about theirs. Ridiculous. To the OP I wish you success and all the happiness in the world.

I don't really understand why people are being so rude. I don't think she's lying, but if she is-- SO WHAT. Don't waste your energy on it. If you believe her, compliment her. It's that easy!

Congrats on your success :)

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
