  6. Good evening! (At least it is in my neck of the woods!) It's been a while since I posted on here. I am almost nine months out, down 168lbs total. A couple weeks ago I had a follow up appointment with my surgeon, who was VERY pleased with my progress. YAY! He told me that the people who tend to struggle or put weight back on later are those that don't spend time learning about food. He told me that I basically need to become an "amateur nutritionist" and read as much as I can. So here's my question-- Anyone have any nutrition books or websites that have helped them??
  7. For me this was phase two. Definitely ask your surgeon.
  8. Welcome to the loser's bench! The pain will pass... and will be totally worth it!
  9. I didn't really hit a stall, honestly, until about month 5 or 6. It's natural. My surgeon told me to do my best to not stress about it.
  10. This is pretty common. My tongue felt so gross and I had awful breath until about 1 month after the surgery. A tongue scraper and listerine will definitely help

  12. Mine comes and goes. I am generally more aroused, but sometimes my changing body still causes confidence issues. I'll tell you what-- it is MUCH easier to do now!!!! (For about 6 months after surgery, your body is going through a LOT of hormone changes. Just keep that in mind.)
  13. I don't see anything wrong with it! I sometimes do a skinny mocha or skinny iced cinnamon dolce. I just wouldn't make it a regular thing, even the fake sugar is not great for you.
  14. Can't wait til I can cross my legs! Good for you!
  15. I feel like this a lot! I am 9 months out! It's great... Saves a lot on food, too!
  16. This is interesting! I have never heard of this!
