Some ideas for the first couple weeks....I am banded the 18th....

what are some of the better Protein shakes? I have tried a couple that were not good and had to force done...

Thanks

I drink, Pure Protein Frosty chocolate shakes. They ate convenient and I drink them cold like chocolate milk. I fell in love with Campbell's hand held Soup Tomato Bisque w/ Parmesan. Yummy...I also love tuna salad. I eat that daily for lunch. I never worry about protein requirements.

im definately going to try this, sounds yummy!!!

Use Crystal Light Sunrise Orange in a cup of 1% milk 1 scoop Vanilla Protein powder (I use EAS WHEY) and lots of ice in the bullet. OMG it is sooooo good. For an extra treat put just a little squirt of Redi-Whip on top. I think this would be less calories then using the orange juice.

:D Try it and let me know what you think please

Most doctors do recommend high protein/low carb....I just chose not to follow that. I rarely drink slimfast, just every once in a while. Not because of the carbs, because I try not to have much artificial sweeteners in my diet.

I've been eating greek yogurt with fruit, the peach yogurt with a cup of peach bits, and cottage cheese with mandarin orange bits (think I've overdone the oranges) great snack!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
