How many incisions do you have? I have 7! Don't know why so many!

I ve heard of 5 but 7! I haven't had a chance to ask my doc.

Belly button and one,

6 incisions. I also had hernia repair at the same time.

I had 5 for the surgery and 1 for the insertion of the pain pump for a total of 6

I was very lucky...I only had 2. One that was 1/4 inch on my right side and one in the belly button.

For people struggling with incision pain, I have found that putting a heating of against them helps a lot to get those muscles looser around the midsection! I'm two days post op and I have 7 that are more than an inch long each.

I have 6 and I was expecting 5, and I'm really glad more people have 6. I thought maybe it was a mistake, like they cut and realized they needed to be over two inches. Whew!

I have 5, and 3 of them are very small...less than half an inch.

I only have one near my belly button. My surgeon, Dr. Paul Enochs, specializes in single incision surgeries. I am five weeks out & had zero complications.

Teeny tiny 6.

Six for me

I have 5

I have 7 including belly button. Why did they go through the button?

I have seven, too. Four were so small that now, at almost 5 weeks post op, you can't even tell they were there. The bottom 3 were a little longer and are visible but not bad. I think every doctor has his/her own way of doing it. But my recovery was super easy so it's fine with me!

6

I have 1 in my belly button you can't tell I had surgery which is nice.
