Dating can really suck. I met a guy a couple of weeks ago. We really hit it off and spent some time together every day.

Last night I found out he has a gf in another town, about 50 miles from here. His friend told me not to get hung up on this guy because he always cheats on his gf but then drives back the 50 miles to see her and will spend 10 days or so with her at her house.

I asked him about it and he thought it would be just fine if he kept us both, and I shouldn't get mad when he goes to see her.

Good Grief! I may just have to give up on men. There's a reason guys in my age group are single.

Being sleeved or whatever weight loss surgery you have had, does not make relationships any easier. I have gone through quite a few, in the almost 9 years since I've lost all my weight.

They work out for awhile, but relationships take work, and it's so easy to run and try out the next best thing. Guys don't seem to want to work out problems.

Hmm

Just had my sleeve 8 days ago. Am thinking it might be wise to taking a dating break... Plus size dating is hard enough then add in hmm Starting A whole new life. I think I may bite off more than I can chew lol:)

Fairly new here, having surgery in the next couple of months. I think a singles site/page is a great idea. I like the thought of having someone who is going through, or has gone through, the same thing I am and has to eat the same way I do!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
