Hello All, I'm curious ... I'm 6wks out, will be 7 wks come Monday, and I'm having some issues. I've been vomitting and dizzy and having headaches, I was fine up until about 3 wks ago. The Dr. says it just Migraines but I'm curious to know if anyone else has had any problems like this or similar, since having surgery. And what helped you if so, I was given prescriptions and they are helping some.

Sorry to hear you're having issues, even though I haven't had my surgery yet, I'm on a few pages and from what I have heard that usually mean dehydration. So sip, sip sip as much as you can. Good luck.

This was me today at the gym. Hurt my back yesterday helping some friends move so today's workout was cut really really short.

Do any of you have good purée recipes? Making a list of items to try during that phase.

I experimented with home made fruit smoothies at this stage and just added Protein powder... It was my favorite at that time.

I didn't really experiment in the soft phase. I lived off of Greek yogurt, babybel light cheese, mashed Beans, Protein Shakes and yogurt.

They give you medicine and it clears right up. At least that is what my nurse told me if I would test positive. She said it wasn't a big deal.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
