I just don't believe this...

I hit the weight goal my doctor suggested back in March. So at this point, I just weigh myself on the first day of each month. It's part of my transition to maintenance. No more myfitnesspal and no more weighing daily or weekly. I'm really trying to do this without the crutches of tracking everything I eat or every ounce I gain/lose.

I looked down at the scale and saw it said 139.6 and was dumbfounded. I haven't been in the 130's since I was a very young woman. Even when I dropped alot of weight in the early 90's, I never got below 150 lbs.

I felt like I was walking on air today just running around doing my errands, going to the Y, just regular stuff. I swear, even with the back pain, and the other crap going on, I am happier than I've been in years. Thank you lap band.

Congrats on all of your success!! I love my LapBand as well :)

I just realized today that I am less than 10 pounds away from being halfway to my goal weight. I have my LapBand to thank for that! I hope one day I can be as successful as you have been with your maintenance!

Fantastic .. I know you are extremely proud of yourself or you should be. getting to goal alone is a huge accomplishment. I haven't got there yet but I am working on it. I love to see the banded success stories.

@@gowalking, I've never chosen a goal weight under 150 in all my adult years of Weight Watchers. With my band, I chose 145. I am so scared I won't make it, which is why I almost didn't. But 145 puts me in normal BMI land. I see your progress and I know I can do it. Thank you!!!

Thank you for being such a good role model. I hope your pain diminishes and you can really live in this normal, functioning, mobile body you've made for yourself.

Rock on!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
