Pregnant with my band

Recommended Posts

Thanks for replying. I live in Lawrencville (by the strip district) I also am going to breastfeed. I did have to get 1/2 of my Fluid removed because I was extremely nauseous all day, everyday but its been a ton better. I still have 3.4cc in my band. I gained 1 pound so far, hoping not to gain too much, the dr said 10~15 pounds. Did you gain alot? Im hoping that breastfeeding doesnt stall my weight loss when I have the baby, I still have some weight to lose.

I gained about 28lbs and lost it all, breastfeeding will help you lose the weight faster :) And don't focus on your weight gain now, just as long as baby is growing healthy and you're doing well that's all that matters :)

For Yvonne74, I had gallbladder issues with both my pregnancies, both were band babies. I just got my gallbladder removed a month ago, my 2nd child is now 5 months old. If you don't have gallstones you can wait to get your gallbladder removed. It won't harm your baby, you just need to watch your diet no fatty or fried foods because that's what triggers a gallbladder attach. Unfortunately one of the side affects of having a lap band is gallbladder problems it stops functioning for some of us. Look up gallbladder disease diets it will help you to know what foods to avoid. Gallbladder attacks are no fun, and painful I was in the hospital with every one.

Good luck

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
