To fill or not to fill?
When I was pregnant with my now 16 month old, I had half of my fluid removed because I was nauseous. When I had my son I had a fill, but it didn't really do much. I went back to the way I used to eat for a bit, then I ended up paying more attention to my foods, I breastfeed the whole year or so, more like 14-15 months and I ended up too tight to where no matter what I ate I got stuck, some days multiple times a day, no matter what I ate, I never lost anything, I went and got a small 1cc unfill and felt so much better. I then could wa again, after 6 weeks I went and got a tiny fill 0.2 cc and now I feel so much better, I can eat and I'm back to loosing weight again. It was hard for me because I gained so much during pregnancy, and I lost a total of 80 pounds before I got pregnant. But I went back to basics, put myself on a 1 week liquid diet, restarted everything. And now I'm down again. I just had to restart

Pregnant with my band
Thanks for replying. I live in Lawrencville (by the strip district) I also am going to breastfeed. I did have to get 1/2 of my fluid removed because I was extremely nauseous all day, everyday but its been a ton better. I still have 3.4cc in my band. I gained 1 pound so far, hoping not to gain too much, the dr said 10~15 pounds. Did you gain alot? Im hoping that breastfeeding doesnt stall my weight loss when I have the baby, I still have some weight to lose.

Congrats to you as well! Im curious as to what happened? I was very sick last night and could not stop vomiting so this morning i called and they had me go in, they removed half of my fluid and i do feel a bit better. Its weird now with this pregnancy i get so nauseous.

Pregnant with my band
I havent had any port pain. Im now 9 weeks pregnant. My surgeon doesnt remove any fluid for delivery. She said unless i am having trouble she Will keep my fluid in my band my entire pregnancy. I am getting better with the nausea i just make sure im drinking something or eating something the moment i feel queasy. I did vomit a couple of times, but not daily and not too much to worry about. But other than that no other pain.

Pregnant with my band
I go to see my surgeon in the morning so I will see what she says. I do have bad morning sickness a lot, and throughout the day as well. My OB prescribed a nausea med but before i started taking it I wanted to check with my surgeon first.

Pregnant with my band
I found out I was pregnant a few weeks ago. I havent been feeling to great, I have been very nauseous almost daily. I see my OB on Monday and my Surgeon on Friday to see what exactly I need to do/ not do. I have no idea what they are going to want to do. I feel like I do not want any fluid removed at all and nobody is touching my band but wanted to hear others story's. I really dont want to gain alot of weight. Any advice ? Also anyone breastfeeding? And how long after can you get fills if they take fluid out?

Dont worry the scale will move, but if it doesnt just remember you are gaining muscle as well. Good luck to you.
