I Want To See Before & After Pics! (Cont'd)

@LaDivaDev.... thank you so much for the encouragement. I know my anxiety is just of the unknown even though I feel very knowledgeable about the surgery and experiences through reading these forums. I am ready to have it said and done. What's the old saying.... if God can bring you to it he will surely see you through it. I believe that wholeheartedly. Thanks for the encouragement.

My mom sent me these two pictures today--one she took at the hospital the morning of surgery, and one she took today to send to my aunt (who has also lost a great deal of weight). I can't believe how big of a difference it is at 3.5 months out! When I look in the mirror I feel like I look exactly the same as I did so it's nice to have progress pictures like this. I wish I had pictures like this of my highest weight lol.

Surgery: 8/1/16

HW: 300

SW: 278

CW: 224

GW: 170

Also wearing an outfit of jeans and a sweatshirt I bought in 2013 that never actually fit haha. Still a bit poochy in these jeans but they slipped on no problem :)

What's your height?
5'11"

@@elliekay You are looking fabulous. Way to go.
I also have a hard time with seeing my own loss. Even pictures take a minute for me to process. I totally understand where you're coming from on that.

9 months after getting sleeved, I just hit a pretty important milestone (for "metric" people) for I have indeed lost 50kilos!! (which roughly translates to 110,5pounds). I am really happy about the results, my lifestyle habits have changed for the best and I am so very glad I have reached more than my goal in less than a year, I know I'll have to stay focus and do my best to stay this way, but right now I am so glad I did it. Cheers everyone :)

Little update on me :) everyone's looking great xx

I'm nearly 10 months post op, 93 lb (42 kg) lost so far, still have 28 lb (15 kg) to lose but I'm getting there with sweat and hard work :)

My stats : Height - 5'9" (1.76 m), SW - 287 lb (130 kg) , CW - 194 lb (88kg)

TW - 165 lb (75 kg)

Can't believe I'm posting a picture of me in that state. The before picture was 3 days after my surgery, when I got home

Your stats are similar to mine, so I hope at 10 months my weight loss is similar and it looks like you don't have any excess skin!

Im so happy that I was able to get off my insulin! I still have like 25 lbs to go but I am not rushing! When you get closer to your goal, it is slower to lose it! To all of you, you are awesome and continue being beautiful inside and out!post-139269-14805054608141_thumb.jpg post-139269-14805054783359_thumb.jpg post-139269-14805054965352_thumb.jpg post-139269-14805055394048_thumb.jpg

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
