  13. It's been 8 months for me and I am having a hard time noticing. However, everyone around me says it was noticeable after a month.
  14. Oh neat I didn't know they had online psych evals!! Best of luck to you you won't regret it!! Sent from my 5056N using the BariatricPal App
  15. Hi thereI had my gastric sleeve procedure in March this year. I waited for two long years because I didn't have the full support I desired from my husband and select family members. I had to come to grips that this was my health and wellness at stake, not theirs. Here I am eight months later and 108lbs lighter feeling better than ever! Yes you will need support but they love you and probably will come around once you've made up your mind. Cheers and good luck your way, Sent from my 5056N using the BariatricPal App
  16. My doctors gave me a combination of medicines and it helped. How are you with Water? Sent from my DASH 5.0+ using the BariatricPal App
  17. @@jane13 Yes! In fact I had a little bit of scrambled eggs this morning and kept it down.
  18. @@jane13 I'm doing a lot better, thank you. I have been doing my best to get fluids in and keep full liquids down. They gave me nausea medicines to take and it has been helping.
  19. @@Raincries Wow! You are indeed a trooper getting two surgeries in one. I haven't experienced the dizzies, only nausea. Have you had your two weeks follow up yet? I had mine today and found out I may have to get periodically hydrated via IV. They also gave me powdered Vitamins to put in my Water that tastes like CrystalLight and helps with nausea. Maybe your docs can run tests and get to the bottom of it. Our bodies are adjusting big time, so anything can happen. Best of luck to you, keep in touch!
  20. Hi, guys! I was also sleeved on the 2nd. It's been rough with nausea, but I think the worst is over. I had to go to the hospital because I was throwing up. I think dehydration was the culprit. They gave me fluids and ran some other tests just to make sure. Well, afterwards, I went for a little walk today and felt pretty good. Down 26.2lbs since surgery. Post op visit is coming up 3/17...
  21. Went to the doctor today. I was given another nausea medicine to pair with the Zofran. They also ran a couple labs on me and I was sent to their infusion center. They gave me fluids for about three hours and I did feel better. I managed so sip a little Soup for dinner and did not get sick...yay!
  22. So I had a post a little bit ago stating foods weren't tasting right to me. It progressed to the point where even I can't tolerate a popsicle! I have been sipping on Water, though. I haven't eaten in about three days now and am extremely nauseated. I vomited today, so I reached out to my surgeon. He is having me sip on hot tea and water for now and I am to go into the hospital tomorrow via his orders. I am nervous because I don't want to stay another night in a hospital (they were very good to me). Has anyone been through this? Needing encouragement right now
  23. @@Inner Surfer Girl I've tried those soft foods you mention but no luck. I am going to talk to doc on the 17th and see if it is an acid issue. I will work on that Protein since it is very important. I have Premier Protein shakes, and the vanilla seems to do well. Just going to take it slow. Thank you for your insight
