Yes it does! LOL

When it shows patients in the lobby, I wonder if any of them will be on the show.

I keep thinking "oh they are getting a car. Wait, no."

Paula is a member of one of the Facebook Bariatric forums where I am a member. She looks like she's doing great now. I was worried about her on the show also. She posted yesterday that the marathon was on TLC. That's how I knew it was on lol.

I also seen Christina on one of the Facebook forums. She looks like she's doing great also. If I remember right, she was filming the follow up show. I haven't noticed any posts from her lately. I can't wait for the follow up shows! : )

Oh that's so great to hear! I have to say I really appreciate these people telling their stories in public. And not even telling their stories but letting us see so many private moments. It has to be hard to be so exposed like that. I hope that they are able to help a lot of people.

I watch and generally enjoy most of the shows. that one had me a little steamed too.

i LOVE Fat Doctor way more though, because they show more stuff specific to the pre-op, surgery, and long term post op. good stuff and complete episodes on Youtube.

To the posters who asked if anybody in the show works, I am guessing that many of these people are on Disability Social Security just from their multiple medical conditions stemming from their obesity. They are, after all, 600+ lbs and many of them can't move, use walkers, oxygen, etc. I can't imagine that they aren't considered disabled.

Uh ... reality shows are highly scripted to generate as much high / low drama as possible.

Reality shows usually bear little resemblance to the (air quotes) stars' reality.

P.S. You are watching a reality show.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
