I eat about 800-1' date='000 in a day. I usually get around 90-100 grams of Protein in and I'm STILL not losing. I've been stalled for almost a month! It's so scary! I track everything that goes in to my mouth! So depressing. It seems like inches are coming off though because I've dropped 2 pants sizes this month, but have lost nothing...[/quote']

During stalls your body will lose the inches. One morning out of the blue you will step on the scale and the pounds will drop.

As for calories and protein goals. Keep in mind that one gram of protein = 4 calories. So if you are getting 100grams of protein you are also taking in 400 calories.

Update! Thanks everyone for the encouragement... It's funny... The day after I posted about my 1 month stall, I stepped on the scale and am down 5lbs. Haha this weight loss thing is too weird!

This is crazy to me! I am 7 months out and can easily eat 1300 + calories if I wanted to. I have track it all or I will eat to much.

That's exactly how I am... If I don't track, I could easily probably reach 1800 calories/day. I have to watch every bite that goes in to my mouth.

I met with my nutritionist yesterday and she told me to intake between 700 and 900 calories. I have the surgery on December 20 so it may be different for you. She told me eventually I will be working up to 1200 cal. She also told me that yr intake should be 35% Protein, 35% Carbs and 30% fats. Hopefully this helps!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
