What ya eating tonight?

I had a small sweet potato, with a tablespoon of i cant believe its butter,

And i boiled a boneless skinless chicken breast. With salt and pepper, curry, garlic powder and some soul food seasoning. After it cooked i put a tablespoon of BBQ sauce to the side so the bites of chicken wouldnt be to dry,

All was good, filled up quick even tho i was slow eating

Taco salad

Tried some beef roast and 2 carrots. Must have not chewed well enough cuz it made me sick! And I was looking forward to it all day too! An hour later had the usual yogurt with protein granola. Always sits well.

I hate it when I look forward to something and it disappoints, either because it doesn't taste they way I expected or it makes me sick. Yogurt is my go-to after a bad food experience, also. I hope your stomach settled okay, Dorian.

Tonite I made my hubby some home made turkey meatballs w/wheat pasta. I skipped the pasta but ate two meatballs and they were delicious! I had some bananas that were overripe so I whipped up three banana breads - one plain, one w/pecans, and one w/chocolate chips. Two go to work tomorrow and one goes to my mother-in-law. I like how I can bake and not want to eat things. The smell of the bananas actually turned my stomach. :-)

How do you make yours?

I've been baking banana protein muffins lately and peddling them to my coworkers. For some reason I like baking even more now than before when I could eat it all.

A very nice piece of cheese (gouda parrano, it tasted like butter!), and some roasted chickpeas.

I'm a vegetarian so typically I do refried vegetarian black Beans, lettuce, olives, tomato, salsa, natural sour cream, and tamed jalapenos. If I have extra calories sometimes I'll add cheese or Morningstar griller crumbles (vegetarian beef Protein substitute).

I had some trouble with the flank steak. I had this before with no issues. This is probably tmi but when something isn't going down, I can bring it up easily. After my pouch settled down, I tried it again and no problems. I have noticed this before....anyone else have trouble with the first bites and then tried again?

I can't eat steak or shrimp. Two things I use to love to eat before surgery.

I had four shrimp w/cocktail sauce for lunch. For dinner I had 1/2 cup of homemade spicy turkey chili mixed w/1/4 cup refried beans. Yum! :-)

I have no idea what to cook tonight since for the first time in forever it's just me! Maybe I'll just eat some yogurt and watch movies :-P

Yogurt is always my go-to...

I just had some sun chips :-/

That was my dinner.

Bad bad bad, I know :-(

Cheese and roasted chickpeas again. Been a long few days so far this week.

I ended up taking a veggie burger and crumbled it to look like ground beef and cooked it with salsa and jalapeños and topped it with a little cheese. 20g of protein
