What ya eating tonight?

I had a small sweet potato, with a tablespoon of i cant believe its butter,

And i boiled a boneless skinless chicken breast. With salt and pepper, curry, garlic powder and some soul food seasoning. After it cooked i put a tablespoon of BBQ sauce to the side so the bites of chicken wouldnt be to dry,

All was good, filled up quick even tho i was slow eating

I'm 2 weeks post op and I'm on purée food. Had 4 oz of mashed potatoes with a boiled egg only egg white mashed into the potatoes' date=' a Protein shake, tried some tuna in Water with light mayo and couldn't eat it felt like if a bomb just dropped into my stomach, that keeps happening with everything new I try, is this normal?? Feel like I'm not loosing weight at all. Lost 22 pounds the first 10 days but nothing else after that. Please give me any advise I don't know what's happening. I don't eat that much and try to drink as much as I can but I don't know why the weight loss stopped, I'm not consuming not even 800 calories per day. What can be happening??[/quote']

We all have what we call stalls where the scale just won't move. It will pass. Just keep geeting your protein in. The weight is gonna come off.

Thanks ill do that. I was thinking also of just going back to my liquid diet to see if it helps me with the stomach aches that I'm getting.

How much protein are u eating? Because that ensures keeping muscles and losing fat..... Talk to ur nutritionist and dr.....?

It's likely just the shock and trauma of the surgery, calorie deprivation, etc. I'm on purée/mushies as well but I'm only allowed 1-2 Tablespoons per meal for the next 4 weeks!

It may help with stomach pains but if you don't get the calories and protein you need you will be very fatigued.

We are grilling out turkey burgers with stuffed feta and sweet potatoe fries with green beans

Found these at Walmart 27grams of protein so good and they were small.

That sounds like heaven!!!!!!!

You will get there... :)

Chicken caramelized then stewed with onions, garlic, sweet peppers, crimini mushrooms and tomatoes spiced with cumin and chili powder. Plus roasted spicy sweet carrots.
