Other than I love it!!! Good luck!

  • 6 months later...

I am 5 days post op had Oikos Greek Yogurt (not allowed fruit on the bottom yet) and I love it. It stayed down great & was smooth & thick.

if both are fat free the plain has 6 grams carbs,15 Protein the Blueberry has 20 carbs, and 12 grams of protein. I was told never eat anything with more carbs than 15.

I was told to avoid the flavored greek yogurts and instead stick to the nonfat plain greek yogurt. I have added powdered peanut butter (PB2) and sugar free syrups (the kind for the coffee drinks like Torani and DaVinci) to give it flavor.

Can't stand the taste of greek yogurt. Kudos to you for being able to eat it. I skip yogurt all together...

There is a lower carb Greek yogurt out there. Dannon light and fit Greek yogurt. Comes in vanilla, strawberry, blueberry, pineapple. 80 calories, 10 protein, 7 carb. Love it!

I live on this.... Oikos or Chibani. Plain, fat free. I mix it with soup to make it creamy and boost the protein.
