  8. How was the consultation? How long was it? I found the paper with the next support group date of 9/6/12 at 6pm It is at North East Heath and Fitness Institue 1090 NorthEast Gateway Court in Concord. I won't be able to go to that one as there is a meeting at the children's school that night.
  9. I have it and have made a few things. One that I like for breakfast is the Swiss Oatmeal. But lots of great ideas in there. I just got it 2 weeks ago so I keep looking thru it.
  10. That is an awesome loss!! I am 2 months tomorrow and down 26lbs. (maybe more I will weigh tomorrow morning) However, this was a revision for me. I had an RNY in 2004. Revision to RNY 6/28/12. I feel great and went back to work after 1 week 2 days. (I have a sit down job) I need to get better with my exercise. Have you contacted Joe for your exercise consultation?
  11. Hey L Belle - Where is your support group located tomorrow? I haven't found one in Charlotte yet.
  12. I love Dr. Bauman, he is great! He has done both of my surgeries. They have a support group it is actually run by the nutritionist Diane and is at the hospital. I don't know when the Sept meeting is though. I live about 40 mins from the hospital so I was hoping to find one that is in Charlotte. I will let you know when the next one is and maybe I will make it up there. How are you doing so far?

  15. I order online bariatric vits called OPurity. They have everything in it so you only take one. The taste it's bad.
  16. Walk walk walk. It will help with the gas. And soon the gas will be gone.

  18. Same for me. I just eat the amount in supposed to then stop. My surgeon today told me to eat more solid foods. However I am 6 weeks out so I am allowed chicken and steak etc.
  19. No I didn't have to do a pre-op diet but it was strongly suggested to have a protein shake as one mean replacement and not to gain any weight.
