  2. Don't forget your cellphone charger! I also stayed in my gown the whole time too.
  3. I have no problems with shrimp. Try one
  4. I can't have onions yet. I'm 5 weeks. No celery or onion unless it's put in a food processor. However grilled might be ok. Call your nutritionist to find out for sure.
  5. You really can tell you are smaller!! Congratulations!
  6. My nutritionist had plan on what I could have and when. It was 4 weeks post op I could have seafood. Only 2oz of course. Then a week later I could have chicken and turkey. And a week later lean beef and pork. The first two weeks were liquids. ( shakes, Soups, anything you could fit through a straw- not using a straw but that size chunks). Then soft foods such as eggs, Beans, cottage cheese, yogurt, etc for 2 weeks.
  7. Welcome and feel at home here. Lots of great info on the boards!

  10. Well I had RNY in feb 2004. Started at 324. Lost down to 190. I kept that weight give or game 10lbs for 4 yrs. I got preg in 2007 and after not during, after I started to gain. My intestine where it attaches to my aroma was dialated so the food would just move through. And I would be hungry again. Now I also wasn't making the best choices and took up bad habits. I gained up to 274. Luckily my surgeon was willing to help me and give me a new start. I do not want to fail this time.
  11. I'm walking but not as consistently or daily. I'm working on that. I am getting my protein in. Since this is my2nd time my dr said it may be slower due to my body has adjusted to the malnutrition.
  12. Good luck! You will have us all waiting here to hear how it went.
  13. I had my revision RNY on 6/28/12 so the 22lbs I've lost aren't even noticeable. Here are my before pics.
  14. Wowsers! Great job! You look great!
  15. Whoo. hoooooo! Awesome news!
  16. Thanks DLC for the info. I guess I never read it lol. It does have a bitter taste.
  17. I found one and it is 15 grams of protein for 1 oz. it's called pro-stat64. It's sugar free and I think it is not the Colegen protein as DLC spoke about. It doesn't taste great but for 1ounce it will do.
  18. Thank you for being brave enough to share and I agree most of us can relate to one part of the story or another. Congratulations and welcome to the rest of your healthy life!
