  1. Congratulation!! It will be a new adventure this year for you!!
  2. Me too!!!! Another bad habit that caused me to gain was all that damn beer!! Lol
  3. I miss diet coke and diet dr pepper. But that was one of the bad habits I took up after my first RNY which could have lead to my weight gain. My surgeon says carbonation can stretch your pouch. I still crave the fizzy sweetness!!
  4. Awesome! I'm wearing some capris today that 2 months ago I couldn't button and they are stretchy! lol. It feels good to get into clothes I haven't been able to wear for a while.
  5. Welcome! And congratulation on your loss!
  6. I agree. Easier after the surgery once weight is lost. I had one unexpectedly after 2 yrs post op.
  7. I'm 6 weeks post op and here are something's I eat: Vegetarian chili Blackbeans Greek yogurt Canned chicken with Greek yogurt and seasons Tuna Salmon Shrimp cheese Cottage cheese Tomatoe Soup made with milk Refried Beans Toasted half English muffin with pizza sauce and cheese to make a mini pizza
  8. Good luck Ladies! I will be thinking and cheering for you all tomorrow. Welcome to a new life!!
  9. Can you have chicken broth? That helped me a lot. I was also allowed tomatoe soup.
  10. I use an iPhone /iPad app called Protein 1. It sounds like the others described. But I might check those out too.
  11. I try not to use shakes. But I do add a scoop of unflavored unjury to my crystal light which adds 21 grams. Also I add 1 scoop of chicken soup flavor unjury another 21 grams to my shredded chicken and mix it with Greek yogurt instead of mayo then add seasoning to get as much as I can. I also eat a lot of tuna.
  12. Congrats! Get used to it as you get hotter and sexier!!
  13. My first RNY my surgeon kept the drain in for a week. It's not really painful when it comes out. Just a nuisance. This time the drisn came out on day 2 while I was still in the hospital.
  14. I have this same problem. I almost wish I would have an intolerance or vomit when I reached 3oz. But everything goes down fine. I'm worried to stretch my pouch since this is my 2nd time. I don't want to take up bad habits like I did before. Portion control is hard. Putting what you can have on your plate and when it's gone your done is a great idea.
  15. I'm with you. I have been able to tolerate everything and I don't get the full sensation so I have to be careful not to push it.
  16. I'm taking kids swimming today too. It's great exercise and you don't sweat! Lol
  17. Thinking about you! Good luck and congrats!! Remember to walk walk walk!!
  18. Enjoy your night out! You look great!!
  19. I like the Oh Yeah! Premade Protein shakes. They have several flavors. I get them at The Vitaman Shoppe. Also another premade called. RTD51. It's 51 grams of protein. I like the chocolate. You just have to try a few until you find something you like.
  20. I'm pretty sure we can all relate. Don't worry you will look back at that pic soon enough and see now far you have come!
  21. When I has my Surgey on 6/28 the next morning ain't flow was there. The hospital only had those huge maternity pads so I had to use that until my mom brought me tampons. Then trying to use a tampon with an IV not easy! Lol. Just my luck!
  22. I don't know anything about that however I took fertility drugs to have my first daughter before my RNY. After I lost 100lbs I was on the pill And got preg unexpectedly. Total shock to us. So it does happen. I wasn't ovulating either before surgery.
